Developing a healthy lifestyle is one of the most important gift you can give to yourself and this world. Traditionally in the last half a century this consisted of a healthy diet, physical exercise and ingesting healthy media. While diet and exercise have reached a relative peak of development, the ingesting of healthy media has declined and required people to take active steps to develop this ability. The main reason for this obviously being social media and the decline of authentic honest media in the form of news in many places of the world. While this is a sign of other issues, the main concern that we, as those who are in alignment with the light, start with is the health of the individual. To combat this I have a list of books I recommend but what I have found is that if you tie in reading about creation and aligning it with the creation of your life, you find a better result as this is more guided.
To begin with, the first book you are going to need to read is the Sefer Yetzirah. I suggest the version annotated by Aryeh Kaplan but any version with notes will do. The reason we select this book is that while it’s a simple work, it breaks out into a number of lessons that teach us the tools we need to read the works that will be doing the major lifting. These books being Genesis in the Bible, Tanakh or Torah along with Parashet Genesis in the Zohar, Pritzker edition volume 1 (other version may suffice here but the notes in the Pritzker edition are a great boon to those trying to learn these works. These two works, when read together, create an understanding of the qualities of what creating and creation is that it removes a huge amount of dense stuck emotional energy within us. Now this does not require that you convert to Judaism or Christianity but it does require you to read the works as not only holy but a transmission of the most enlightened way this whole lineage is able to transmit beginning and what begining (both the beginning of beginning and the beginning of ourselves in our lives by seeing it as a creative way of explaining the world to those who are just learning about it).
During the reading of these works, its important to keep in mind that you will have to have some sort of yoga/devekut practice. Now this could be meditation, journaling, following the tao, asana, pranayama or so on but personally I recommend kundalini yoga and Journaling along with a 5-10 minute meditation each day. These works force the brain to process and develop new neural pathways as well as build light within your understanding which illuminates the multidimensional nature of the world. Or put more simply – it adds to your perspective of life as something to compare and contrast to with how you currently experience life – which leads to healing.

I also enjoy this video – which you may want to start with but it comes with a few caveats. The first being that if this is the first time watching this, and you have no kabbalah background, know that this is someone demonstrating the skills learned through Kabbalah based practices but it’s not the whole of the practice. The person presenting is very well versed and does an excellent job of bridging the barriers between hebrew/aramaic and english but feel free to be light with it – Tibetan Budhism has it’s own Kabblah (Tantra without Syllables) – by the time you finish reading you will have what you need from it and that is key. The creators take in this video is also his own, I have my own take on this information and so should you – where we align is when we can sit with this and still love each other.
If you set a goal of 1 month and read every day and practice you can achieve this goal. However, realistically, this should be a 3 month endeavor with a daily reading and practice. Not just so you have time to digest everything but because it takes time to start seeing the results unfold in your life. If you commit to this though, within those 3 months, with the proper exercises, the amount of pleasure in your life that you experience, no matter what has happened or where you have came from, will greatly increase. If you skip the exercises and just read, you will still develop greatly but you will want to look more to living your best life to be the yoga that brings for the results. Finally don’t forget the tantra in here, its a part that some people were not properly taught on due to ancient social structures of some cultures that prevented such learning from happening, but it is an integral part of this growth. I’ll expound more on that later.
